Why is it important to detox? Some people’s bodies detoxify effectively, while others don’t. The effects of detox on the body can be due to both genetics and environmental factors. Some people might need to detox more often than others due to the number of toxins that accumulate in their bodies.

Some Ways of Detoxing
Detoxing is good for your physical health, and also your mental health. What are some of the ways of detoxing? Some ways to detox are by drinking lots of water and eating healthy foods. Staying hydrated can get rid of many toxins from your system. Foods that increase inflammation, like fast foods and sugary foods, should be eliminated. Dairy and gluten can also aggravate inflammation.
Don’t be discouraged if you don’t see results immediately. Be patient and give it time. Our office provides a detox process for our clients. This process can take from two weeks to six weeks, depending on the person’s body. We guide our clients through the detox by removing inflammatory food and replacing it with healthier choices.
We remove foods that would be hard on your liver, kidneys, skin, and gut. This way your body can focus on getting rid of the toxins it already has. We also teach our clients not to do things that add toxins to their bodies.
For example, one of my clients who was trying to detox ended up getting more sick. It is because he was painting his home while undergoing detox. He already had a lot of health issues when he was painting and inhaling the paint. We suggest that clients try not to do those things.
Exercising is important for detoxing. You can walk for 30 minutes each day, drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, and use a sauna to help your body detox. Sometimes we suggest that our clients avoid eating meat products for a certain period to help their liver and gut function well.
